Matcha Margarita is a modern fusion of Japanese matcha and the classic margarita, combining the bold earthiness of matcha with the smooth warmth of tequila. The citrusy brightness of Triple Sec and fresh lemon juice adds balance, while a touch of simple syrup enhances the drink’s smoothness. Shaken with ice and served over a large ice sphere, this elegant cocktail is finished with a lime slice or fresh mint, making it a sophisticated yet refreshing choice for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • Hojalicious Matcha Powder: 10g

  • Warm Water: 30ml

  • Tequila: 60ml

  • Triple Sec (Orange Liqueur): 30ml

  • Fresh Lemon Juice: 30ml

  • Pure Liquid Cane Sugar : 20ml

    (adjust based on preference)

  • Ice Cubes: Desired amount

  • Large Ice Sphere: For serving

  • Lime Slice or Mint Leaf: For garnish


Directions

  1. Prepare the Glass Rim:

    Moisten the edge of the serving glass and dip it into salt to evenly coat the rim. Set aside.

  2. Dissolve the Matcha:

    In a shaker, add 10g of Hojalicious matcha powder and 30ml of warm water. Stir well until the matcha is fully dissolved.

  3. Shake the Cocktail:

    Add 60ml tequila, 30ml Triple Sec (or substitute), 30ml fresh lemon juice, 20ml pure liquid cane sugar, and ice cubes into the shaker. Shake vigorously for 15–20 seconds.

  4. Assemble the Drink:

    Place a large ice sphere into the prepared glass with the salted rim.

  5. Pour & Garnish:

    Strain the matcha margarita into the glass and garnish with a lime slice or fresh mint leaf. Serve immediately and enjoy!
