Ingredients

  • Grass Jelly Concentrate: 250ml

  • Water: 670ml

  • Starch Powder: 5g

  • Water (for starch mixture): 35ml

  • Cane Sugar Syrup: 40ml

  • Toppings: As needed (e.g., peanuts, taro balls, mini mochi, or red beans)

Directions

  1. Prepare Grass Jelly Base:

    Combine 250ml grass jelly concentrate and 670ml water in a pot. Heat until it boils.

  2. Make Starch Mixture:

    Dissolve 5g starch powder in 35ml water, stirring until smooth.

  3. Thicken the Jelly:

    Gradually pour the starch mixture into the boiling jelly base, stirring constantly. Once it boils again, reduce to low heat and simmer for 2-3 minutes until thickened.

  4. Sweeten:

    Add 40ml cane sugar syrup, stirring until fully dissolved. Turn off the heat and let it cool slightly.

  5. Serve:

    Pour the hot grass jelly into a serving bowl and top with your favorite toppings.
